With well over 6,000 entrants and with some already having garnered over 6 million votes, I certainly do not expect to win this competition. Rather, my hope is that this might open a door as she will certainly need extensive new promramming beyond the contest winner's show.

May the Power of the Cosmos be with You!

This Week's "Realm of Bizarre News" Top 5(No.170)

-Unfair! Suicidal gal,56, leapt form the 12th floor of an
office building in Antofogasta, northern Chile. But, she
landed on a cleaning woman on the gorund floor, instantly
kiling her as well as herself. The hapless victim was only
40 minutes away from finishing her shift!

-No, they were not thieving grave robbers! Three 100-year-old disinterred graves at the local cemetery in Sidmouth,England were actually dug up by a family of badgers, yes, badgers who needed the space for their burrows!

Trivia Q: What is the technical term for a group of badgers? Answer below.

-Florida surgeon removed patient's healthy kidney instead of his gallbladder! Dr.Bernard Zaragoza was moritifed at discovering his mistake, which he attributed to the patient's strange anatomy with the kidney situated where the gallbladder normally is.He was fined $5,000. The patient, 83, died 3 weeks later of heart failure and may never have been aware of the blunder.

-Meow! Intriguingly, cheetahs and jaguars are attracted to the Calvin Klein perfume,"Obsession for Men." In an experiment at the Brox Zoo,2 cheetahs spent 11 minutes curiously sniffing a tree sprayed with the fragrance. And, an animal conservationist in Guatemala has been using the scent to lure jaguars to camera for a population count. One of the developers reports that the perfume contains synthetic animal components, perhaps accounting for its effect on big cats! You,of course, can test it out on your own domestic cat at home.Meow!

-Sometimes, you can be too rich! Billionaire Dieter Bock,71, founder of a chain of luxury hotels in Germany, recently ordered a $50 filet mignon dinner sent up to his suite at the Atlantic Hotel in Hamburg where several scenes of the 007 film,"Tomorrow Never Dies," were shot. Bock was found dead the next morning, having choked to death on the fancy steak! That is precisely why we say that you can sometimes be too rich!

Trivia answer: a group of badger is termed a "cete."

I can present these and other intriguing reports(which can be fleshed out in more detail if needed) for you in a dynamic new 1-5 minute feature (or even 30-second microfeaturette) that can run daily, tri-weekly, or weekly on any of your existing productions, or stand unto itself as a separate 30-minute weekly entity!
