-Catfish are being enlisted to clean the pools of foreclosed homes down in Wellington,Florida! Specifically, 15 catfish are dumped into each pool to extirpate it of potentially dangerous algae, much cheaper than utilizing chemicals to do the same job!




-Ugh! Man in Chernigov,Ukraine dropped the equivalent of $24 down a toilet! When he reached down to retrieve the money from the commode, his arm got stuck, with his ordeal lasting 3 hours until an emergency crew was able to free it! And, no, he was unable to rescue his funds!

-Wear deep blue and red cotton clothes for the best protection against sunlight! According to a new Spanish study, deep blue shades are best at absorbing dangerous UV radiation, followed by red, while yellow shades afford the least amount of protection!




-Nefarious auto mechanic in Johnson City, Tennessee has been caught disabling cars parked at restaurants, then offering his services to restart them when the owners come out, charging between $50 and $200 per vehicle.




-While a new study questions the value of implanted defibrillators at saving lives of heart patients, a 61-year-old gentleman in Florida has absolute proof that they are indeed beneficial: his defibrillator stopped a bullet fired into his chest! The bullet fragments and the damaged device were excised in a simple procedure and he was discharged the very next day!




-A man's cat and dog in Fushun, China both recently gave birth to litters (2 kittens, 6 puppies), and are sharing nursing duties, with each tending to the other's newborns!
